No small task. But I can tell you it’s simpler than we’ve all been led to believe. 

Human behaviour has always fascinated me. When I discovered that how we show up in the world is underpinned by energies created during precious formative years in childhood, I dove straight in. 

Applying my understanding of the field of Energetics to my personal goal of emotional healing saw the most incredible lasting change unfold within me. And now hundreds of clients have received the benefit of this embodied education for self-healing that transforms the trajectory of their life for good!

Your Questions Answered

  • Whilst real healing is straightforward and each person can become empowered in their self-healing journey, it does take time and commitment to fully heal. Quick fixes are simply not deep enough to effect change that lasts. With a dedicated emotional hygiene practice you can anticipate feeling less negatively charged in your everyday life within 6 months. Over a couple of years of continued self-healing, you can anticipate being greater self-aware, self-connected, self-understood, self-nurturing, self-compassionate and doing greater good in the world. 


  • The world we live in today means we all have a deeply internalised trauma to heal. The severity and/or complexity of your childhood experiences, the level of support you have and can offer to yourself, your particular blend of subscious imprints, your innate value system, and how highly sensory you are or are not, all inform your personal healing process. For these reasons, our work is tailored to you and your needs on this part of your journey in learning the art of self-healing. In addition, I encourage an approach that sees us incorporate a simple daily “emotional hygiene” routine that means that even once healed in the years to come, you continue to maintain your emotional life by integrating your adult-lived experiences - just because we’re healed doesn’t mean we don’t continue to have normal healthy emotions as part of our ongoing human experience. 

  • You can build emotional resilience by applying the courage and discipline to practise self-healing ongoing - in the same way you tend to your physical hygiene daily, you do the same for your emotional life. Self-healing is a mix of self-awareness, self-connection, and self-nurturing practices.

  • You can express your emotions through learning the art of self-healing. This may complement other forms of self-expression that you prefer, and that some modalities use to support healing, such as any form of healthy creative expression. But I want to be clear that expressing emotions through self-healing is quite different from expressing through creative art forms e.g. painting, drawing, singing, dancing etc. Where emotions can be “channelled” into these forms of artist expression, self-healing work is about the evolution and integration of emotions in a very direct way. 

  • Two key ingredients - courage and commitment. The art of true healing is not complex, but it will challenge every wounded aspect of us that fears healing because they’ve never known a healed state. These stuck energies keep us in repetitive dysfunctional cycles. It takes courage to be open, learn a brand new skill, and bring these energies out of their cycles, and it takes daily commitment to empty the heavy cup we all carry by early adulthood. How much time you give to the daily practice of self-healing is up to you. I encourage a minimum of 20-30 minutes per day.
